Synthpop Electropop Technopop Radio Caprice on air

Synthpop Electropop Technopop Radio Caprice broadcasts live from Moscow, featuring Electronic, Electronic music.

Synthpop Electropop Technopop from the Radio Caprice
network streams synth-driven music shaped by the aesthetics of the 1980s. The playlist moves through synthpop, electropop and technopop with melodic hooks, mechanical rhythms, analog textures and cold electronic atmospheres associated with artists like Depeche Mode, Human League, Soft Cell and Pet Shop Boys.

The station focuses on the evolution of synthpop from the late post-punk and new wave era to its later revivals. Early pioneers such as Yellow Magic Orchestra, Ultravox and Tubeway Army helped define the sound through prominent synthesizers, drum machines and minimalist arrangements. Over time the genre absorbed elements of disco, soul and electronic dance music while keeping its distinctly artificial and emotional character intact.
