Indie Electronic Radio Caprice on air

Indie Electronic Radio Caprice broadcasts live from Moscow, featuring Electronic, Electronic music.

On air at Indie Electronic - a channel from the Radio Caprice network focused on the meeting point of indie rock attitude and electronic production. The station broadcasts from Russia and keeps its playlist around indietronic, indie electronic and related hybrid sounds where guitars, synths and soft digital rhythms coexist.

The style emerged in the early 1990s with bands like Stereolab and Disco Inferno, later expanding with artists such as Broadcast, Justice, Lali Puna, The Postal Service and Ratatat. As digital production grew in the 2000s, indie musicians increasingly mixed analog indie textures with electronic beats. The result is a scene that moves between dreamy synth pop, minimal electro and dance-punk influenced indie, sometimes linked to the UK "new rave" wave around acts like Klaxons and Hadouken!.
