Garage House Radio Caprice on air

Garage House Radio Caprice broadcasts live from Moscow, featuring Electronic, Electronic music, House.

On air is Garage House, a Radio Caprice station from Russia, focused on classic and soulful sides of house music. The playlist is built around garage house and New York house with warm grooves, deep basslines, and expressive soul and gospel vocals. This stream fits naturally into the Radio Caprice network, known for genre-focused channels and careful musical curation.

Garage house grew out of the early 1980s New York club scene, taking its name from the legendary Paradise Garage and the sound shaped by DJ Larry Levan. Musically it stays close to Chicago house, but leans harder into soul, disco roots, and live-feeling vocals. The style found wider recognition through the Zanzibar club in New Jersey with Tony Humphries, later gaining momentum on labels like Strictly Rhythm and through artists such as Masters at Work, Kerri Chandler, and Blaze.
