Funky House Radio Caprice on air

Funky House Radio Caprice broadcasts live from Moscow, featuring Electronic, Electronic music.

This station is part of the Radio Caprice network and focuses on funky house, a lively branch of electronic dance music with deep roots in groove and rhythm. The playlist blends house structure with elements of funk, disco and jazz, often featuring vocals, warm basslines and bright synth layers. It’s a steady stream of dancefloor-oriented tracks with a classic yet flexible sound.

Funky house emerged in the mid-1980s in the United States as a more groove-driven take on house. Its tempo usually sits around 120-130 BPM, built on the familiar four-on-the-floor kick pattern with shuffled hi-hats and rich percussion. A defining trait is the bass, often inspired by funk techniques, alongside piano chords, brass touches and occasional wah-wah guitar textures that give the music its signature bounce and movement.
