Freestyle Music Radio Caprice on air

Freestyle Music Radio Caprice broadcasts live from Moscow, featuring Electronic, Electronic music.

On air at Freestyle Music classic freestyle, electro and dance pop with the unmistakable sound of the 80s club scene. The station is part of the Radio Caprice
network and focuses on melodic synth-driven tracks, syncopated beats and vocal dance music that grew between early house, electro and disco influences.

Freestyle first emerged in New York and Miami during the early 80s, shaped by Latin American and Afro-American club culture. The format mixes sharp drum machine rhythms with emotional vocals and catchy hooks, which made artists like Shannon, Stevie B, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam and Cover Girls central names of the genre. Even after leaving the mainstream charts, freestyle stayed alive in underground dance culture and still sounds tied to the late-night radio and club atmosphere of that era.
