Field Recordings Radio Caprice on air

Field Recordings Radio Caprice broadcasts live from Moscow, featuring Electronic, Electronic music.

On air is a niche stream from the Radio Caprice network focused on field recordings, raw environmental sound, acoustic textures and incidental audio captured outside the studio. The station leans into ambient, experimental and documentary-style listening, where nature, urban space and human activity become the main source of sound.

Field recordings here range from scientific nature captures and ethnographic material to artistic soundscapes and audio used in film and radio. The format reflects how portable recording technology shaped the practice, from tape machines to digital recorders. Expect birds, water, distant machinery or street noise arranged as they were captured, preserving space, depth and atmosphere with minimal processing.
